Description

Petromin Rock Drill Oil Series is heavy-duty oil formulated exclusively for lubrication of pneumatic rock drills in mining and construction operations. It is formulated from a combination of base stocks and special additives selected to provide improved performance in all types of pneumatic rock drills. All grades exhibit high film strength to minimize wear at low feed rates. Additionally, it contains additives, which effectively control emulsions, provide effective metal wetting properties, and excellent rust and corrosion protection of internal parts.

Application

Petromin Rock Drill Oil Series is recommended for all pneumatically operated rock drills, particularly those requiring heavy duty oils, and including those in which the rotation of the drill is independent of the percussion mechanism, utilizing a separate hydraulic or pneumatic motor with reduction gearing for rotation. The oils may be applied by hand or integral oil reservoirs through air lines.
